Skin of the Earth (SkOTE) is the land relations and design practice of Anik Sparrman (b. 1991, they/them) based in the Ragged Mountains, just southwest of Charlottesville, VA, on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Monacan Nation.

SkOTE collaborates with nurseries, ecologists, landscape architects, plants, soil, stone, fungus, maps, ghosts, water, and a host of other critters.

SkOTE is dedicated to practices rooted in loving relations between all varieties of Earthly kin.
